* New Programs:
Beginning from Fall, 2011, CSA introduces the following classes/programs:

1). Ballroom Dancing
We are glad to announce that Jimmy and Elaine Lau have accepted our invitation to teach Ballroom Dancing for Adults at CSA.

Jimmy Lau is an accomplished ballroom dancer, dance teacher and regional performer. He has been teaching and performing in the New England area for more than ten years, and he is the winner of several regional dance competitions, along with his wife and partner Elaine. Mr. Lau currently teaches at dance studios in Newton, Quincy and Boston Chinatown; he is also an active member of the Boston Chinese community. This school year, we are fortunate enough to have him teach introductory ballroom dancing at CSA. His classes will include the Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Swing, Samba, Paso Doble, Tango, Quick Step, Rumba and Jive.

Here is the class' details:

Time: 1:45 pm - 2:45 PM (subject to change per teacher and students agreement)
Location: Gym
Tuition: $120/Semester-Individual; $220/Semester-Couple.

There will be no free try-out for this class.

Class is open to sign up on this Sunday afternoon during school hours.

2). Children's Choir
Organized and Instructed by high school students Xinni Chen and Casey Zhang, kids in this class will learn the basics of singing for example how to breathe and how to sing together in a group. They will sing simple songs no more than two parts that will help them develop their musical ears. They will learn how to read basic music if they don’t already know how. For those that already participate in instrumental studies, it will help them learn how to phrase and listen to different parts in whichever piece they are working on.

Time: 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm (subject to change per teacher and students agreement)
Location: classroom
Tuition: $60/Semester
